What a magical little island. I will say it was much more touristy than I expected, but certainly less so than mainland Cancun.

Airport Transfers - book with CARM, they were excellent to deal with!
Money - you can exchange dollars for pesos at an airport kiosk outside of baggage claim. There are also banks on the island.
Where to stay - we booked this little gem for the first few days and LOVED it. As the reviews mention, the pool is not heated (and it’s loud when the pumps are running), but it’s great for a quick dip. And the location of this place wins! Right in the middle of the little tourist town, walkable to everything.
Where to beach - Playa Norte wins hands down. For $30 you can get a shaded, beachside cabana bed - totally worth it!
